Chief Sanya Ayeni

Chief Sanya Ayeni is a lawyer, a seasoned and passionate advocate. He is a learned gentleman per excellence with decades of experience in courtroom advocacy both in Civil and Criminal litigation up to the Supreme Court – (nicknamed Lord Denning ). He is also an excellent and flawless writer nicknamed the talking pen. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and a member of many committees of the NBA. He is a recipient of many awards for Excellence and a mentor to many junior colleagues.

He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987.

He was admitted to read languages and linguistics  at the University of Calabar, however, he did not complete his Bachelors of Arts in languages  and linguistics there before he crossed over to Bendel State University, Ekpoma( now  Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma).

He obtained his LL.B from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma In 1986 and his B.L from the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos in 1987.  He has worked in leading Law Firms: namely-  Clifford M Smith & Co. Solicitors as well as Akin Omoboriowo and partners before setting up his  Law firm  in 1990  as Principal Partner at Sanya Ayeni & Co  with 38 years experience in practice. He is also Director in many Boards: Director,  Law Mirror Publications Limited,  publisher , Law mirror newspaper., Chairman, Passmark Nigeria Limited, Managing partner,  Sanya Ayeni & Co.  Solicitors and partner, Amanda D. Asagba Chambers
