Amanda Ego Justina Asagba
Amanda Ego Justina Asagba (Nee DEMECHI) is a Lawyer, Human Rights Activist, Gender Researcher, Mediator, Arbitrator, Notary Public and the President of African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), the Parent / Umbrella Body of the Association, founded in 1997 in Kenya.
The immediate past President of African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), Nigeria Chapter. She is the Principal Partner of Amanda D Asagba Chambers established, in 2005, with bias for Corporate Practice, Family Law, Real Estate, Human Rights, International Law and Immigration. A legal adviser with many corporate retainers. She is the Founder and President of Legal Pool for Justice and Equity Initiative founded in 2013 with the goal to grant the indigent, vulnerable and marginalized access to justice.
She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. She obtained a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy (M.I.L.D) in 1991, from the University of Lagos. She has worked in leading Law Firms. She had a stint in the sciences at VMT Washington DC USA 2001-2003
She is a member of many boards and professional Associations and a member of the National Executive council of the Nigerian Bar
Association (NBA), The Council of Legal Education and the Secretary of the Governing Council of The Citizens’ Mediation Centre (CMC).
She has facilitated and attended international and regional conferences. She is an authority in many areas in which she has done extensive research, presented papers, written articles and reports.
She is a consultant duly recognized internationally and locally and a recipient of many awards for Excellence, Commitment and Dedication to the Welfare of Women and Children
She has trodden uncommon legal paths, lends her voice to the call for Children’s welfare, women’s emancipation and increased political participation among other issues in Nigeria

Chief Sanya Ayeni
Chief Sanya Ayeni is a lawyer, a seasoned and passionate advocate. He is a learned gentleman per excellence with decades of experience in courtroom advocacy both in Civil and Criminal litigation up to the Supreme Court – (nicknamed Lord Denning ). He is also an excellent and flawless writer nicknamed the talking pen. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and a member of many committees of the NBA. He is a recipient of many awards for Excellence and a mentor to many junior colleagues.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987.
He was admitted to read languages and linguistics at the University of Calabar, however, he did not complete his Bachelors of Arts in languages and linguistics there before he crossed over to Bendel State University, Ekpoma( now Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma).
He obtained his LL.B from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma In 1986 and his B.L from the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos in 1987. He has worked in leading Law Firms: namely- Clifford M Smith & Co. Solicitors as well as Akin Omoboriowo and partners before setting up his Law firm in 1990 as Principal Partner at Sanya Ayeni & Co with 38 years experience in practice. He is also Director in many Boards: Director, Law Mirror Publications Limited, publisher , Law mirror newspaper., Chairman, Passmark Nigeria Limited, Managing partner, Sanya Ayeni & Co. Sakinah Adepeju
Sakinah Adepeju Oluwaseun Oduye-Quadri is a lawyer, chartered mediator, tax consultant and women and children advocate. She Studied at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State
She was called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 2001
She became a member of the African Women Lawyers Association, Nigeria in 2003 and has since been an active member of the Association.
Her passion and commitment has earned her membership of many committees from which she has over the years risen to the top echelon of the Association. She was a former Vice President of AWLA, Nigeria Chapter and immediate past Acting President of the Association
She is easy going and unassuming. She has attended several trainings, courses and seminars on women and children.
She is the Managing Partner at Gbolade Oduye & Co, and a partner at Amanda D.Asagba Chambers. . She is a member of Legal Pool for Justice and Equity Initiative, She is easy going and unassuming. She is the current Secretary General of the African Women Lawyers Association( AWLA, the Parent body of the Association poised to end indignity to women and children.
Esther Ebhodaghe
Esther Ebhodaghe is a Legal Practitioner with 10 years experience. A goal getter and achiever,she is passionate about law and its power as an effective tool for positive change in the society.
Through her membership of the African Women Lawyers Association she joins hands with like minds to fight injustice against women and children. She was the immediate past Assistant Secretary and currently a member of the Publicity and Admin Committee.
She enjoys reading and acquiring new skills.
Fatima Olawunmi Raji
Fatima Olawunmi Raji is a Lawyer and an activist with infectious passion for human rights advocacy for women and children. She obtained her LL.B from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos 2001 and B.L from the Nigerian Law School in 2002. She later went to the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos. 2013/2014 and obtained an LL.M degree. She is an Associate with

She also specializes in Family Law, Real Estate commercial Law and criminal Law.
She is a member of the African Women Lawyers Association(AWLA) and the Assistant Secretary of AWLA, Nigeria Chapter, Lagos State Branch. She is also an active member
of the Nigerian Bar Association. Wunmi is amiable, cool, calm, calculated and purposeful. She is dedicated to duty and result oriented.
Abiodun Kolawole
ABIODUN KOLAWOLE, ESQ is a seasoned Media and Legal Practitioner with LL.B, BL and LL.M. from Lagos State University (LASU), University of Lagos, Akosa, Lagos. An Associate at AMANDA D. ASAGBA CHAMBERS and a member OF LEGAL POOL FOR JUSTICE AND EQUITY INITIATIVE She is also an Associate at CROWN CANAAN ATTORNEYS CHAMBERS
She has served in various capacities, namely Nigerian Bar Association( NBA), African Women Lawyers Association(AWLA), NIgeria Chapter and presently the WELFARE OFFICER and a Member of the Publicity Team of AFRICAN WOMENLAWYERS ASSOCIATION (AWLA), the Patent Body. Her ALIAS is’ IYA GANI FAWEHINMI ESQ due to her activism at the Bar.
She has been an instrument of peace who cannot stand impunity and injustice.
